This unique, wearable art represents the convergence of land and sea as it is printed with land plants at its top and seaweed at the bottom, they meet in a concentrated moment of tension in the center. This piece is dyed with my home grown indigo and over-dyed with marigold, and hand painted for stylization with a natural ink made with oak and iron. Some of the plants used to create the eco-print include oak, sumac, and birch, and of course, seaweed.
